2009 Anne Amie Annahala Vineyard Pinot Noir

2009 Anne Amie Annahala Vineyard Pinot Noir

Every once in a while an opportunity to do something new and different presents itself. In 2009, we were presented with the uncommon possibility of producing a wine from Pinot noir grown in the Anderson Valley, California (go ahead and ask us about it, we'll tell you the story). Thomas began his career as a winemaker was in the Anderson Valley, which is where he fell in love with Pinot noir, ultimately leading him to Oregon. More than ten years later, we seized this opportunity to produce a small bottling of  this incredible vineyard in a wine that shows the character of Pinot noir grown in the cool climate of the Anderson Valley, but made in a style that is unmistakably Anne Amie. Only 300 cases were made.
