2005 Deux Vert Vineyard Pinot Noir

Deep ruby in color, a rich nose excites with aromas of wild black cherry and forest floor layered with tobacco, cedar, and vanilla. Deep smoke and tar flavors open into a dense ripe plum, blueberries, and hints of black cherry highlights. A round, plush mouth-feel leads to a finish with an irresistible hedonistic appeal. Deux Vert Vineyard is in the Yamhill-Carlton District AVA on classic Willakenzie soils and is farmed to low yields with great passion by owners Mike and Patty Green. This wine pairs beautifully with steaks, grilled meats, and planked salmon. Drink now, or hold on to a few and watch them continue to develop over the next 3 to 5 years.
