Tim Lamers
Director of Operations
Tim Lamer's involvement in Oregon agriculture began with an orchard on Chehalem Mountain in 1992. Oregon is far from the childhood farm in the Wanganui district of New Zealand, but a love of mountains, trees and rain has made it the perfect home. Rugby took care of his nose and most of his teeth, but spared the knees and shoulders, allowing for work in the cellar when they needed something broken.
While in business school in Houston, Tim had the good sense to come back to Oregon for a summer break. After working with friends in vineyards and wineries it was only a matter of time before he found his place in the wine industry. He has been weaned from the big Aussie reds of his callow youth, and developed a great fondness for Pinot and Riesling while being vulnerable to dessert wines of all types.
Tim was educated at the Wanganui Collegiate School, University of Queensland and University of Houston. He brings management, administration and accounting experience from several industries in Australia and the US.
